Calculator inputs
GST, bulk and margin calculations run in your browser. We do not upload the amounts you enter to a CalcGST server. The ABN format checker runs locally; opening its official lookup link sends the number to the Australian Business Register.
Saved document drafts
The invoice, quote and receipt makers save one draft each in this browser’s local storage. A draft can include business and customer names, ABNs, contact details, line items, dates and any payment or bank details you enter in the notes. It is not encrypted by CalcGST and can be accessible to other people using the same browser profile.
Use “Clear saved draft” inside the tool to remove that draft, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Clearing browser data, private browsing and device changes can remove or prevent saving drafts. We cannot recover them. Downloaded PDFs and CSV files remain on your device until you delete them.
Website delivery
Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website. Network requests necessarily include technical information such as an IP address, browser details and requested URLs. Cloudflare may process these for delivery, security and abuse prevention under its privacy policy. Do not put private information in page URLs.
Contact emails
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include. Contact mail is routed through Cloudflare to our Gmail inbox so we can respond and investigate issues. We use those messages for the enquiry and related records. Ask us by email about access, correction or deletion; some records may need to be retained for legitimate business or legal reasons.
Advertising, analytics and cookies
This version does not load Google AdSense or Google Analytics. We plan to use advertising to support the free tools. If enabled, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before those services load. We do not currently ask visitors to accept advertising cookies that are not in use.
External links and changes
External services have their own privacy practices. We may revise this policy when features or providers change and will update the effective date. Contact us if you have a question or concern about the handling of your information.
